From Dr Sabby Kent, GP at Mountwood Surgery, the Education and Training Lead for Hillingdon primary care.
Dear Tricia (Tan), Shivani (Misra), Shruti (Goel), and Channa (Jayasena),
On behalf of the Hillingdon GPs and the CCG a huge thanks and appreciation for making the Masterclass on 30 January such a great event. Your talks were highly relevant, practical and pitched just right. We had our full 70+ attendees (in fact we ran out of food!) and many commented on how useful it was learn practical tips, new knowledge and concepts. You definitely ‘de-mythed’ a lot of lab processes and gave us huge insight into some of the complexities involved with interpretation. It was great to see warm, enthusiastic faces as many of us have really underappreciated how much central you all are as part of the primary care team.
Well done to all of you. We really appreciate your huge efforts especially sacrificing your personal time - especially faring the arctic weather! Also huge thanks to Rupinder Gill, NWLP GP Engagement Manager, for helping coordinate this.
Feedback from GPs attending the event:
“I didn’t know our local labs were all part of North West London Pathology - I will definitely use the advice email …”
“Full of practical, useful clinical tips. Great!”
“High level learning”
