If prolonged treatment with Tobramycin is anticipated, regular monitoring of pre-dose serum levels will be required. |
Clinical Indications |
Take a blood sample immediately prior to the 2nd dose (if duration greater than 48 hours). Do not wait for the result – give second dose as planned. If the level comes back ≥1mg/L the 3rd dose should be adjusted. |
